     Nonfiction.   This explores the myriad of meanings of the word voodoo.   It means creator of the universe in its original African language but was translated into European languages as meaning evil black magic and/or ignorant superstition.   The author dialogues with his alter ego, O. Govi, as he explores various cults in the South, Caribbean, French Guiana and Brazil, comparing the basic assumptions of African and Christian beliefs.
